After a three-week hiatus, I’m finally back to the computer and blogging! I realized I had so many photos to upload and didn’t have time to do any of it until this weekend because I’m stuck at home with the worst cold ever (more on that later!) In December, right before we headed to San Diego for the holidays, Ken and I went to Madison Square Garden with our friend, Jon Michael, to watch the Bulls play the Knicks. Hughie and Hana were nice enough to give us their tickets to the game since Ken is such a big Bulls fan. Hughie has pretty amazing season tickets – we arrived at Madison Square Garden around 7pm for the 7:30 game and watched the Knicks and Bulls warm up:

I was never been a big sports fan growing up and only started watching after Ken and I started dating. Basketball is actually pretty entertaining and probably my favorite sport to watch (close second: football. Last place: baseball) I was really interested in the Knicks when Jeremy Lin played for the team and Ken even got me a Lin/Knicks shirt, but right after I got the shirt, Jeremy Lin was benched and then traded! Ha – I guess I was bad luck for Jeremy Lin ๐Ÿ™‚

The best part about Madison Square Garden is that they have a ton of different food vendors now – it’s not just hot dogs, it’s Jean Georges organic chicken hot dogs. No more regular regular soft serve, they have 16 Handles Frozen yogurt! During half-time, Ken and I went to find something to eat – we chose Jean Georges’ Simply Chicken:

The hot dog warmers are the same ones they use at 7-11, but I was definitely more excited about these hot dogs:

These chicken hot dogs are made daily by Jean Georges’ restaurant and they are topped with a really delicious homemade coleslaw that is both tangy and sweet:

Ken ordered a chicken sandwich with a housemade relish that was pretty good, but I enjoyed the chicken hot dog more; nice bun to meat ratio, curry-powdered cole slaw with just the right amount of mayonnaise, and filling enough that I didn’t have to get two.

The Knicks ended their at home winning streak that night – possibly because I was there – and haven’t been doing that well ever since!
