Over the weekend, Ken and I decided to go out for breakfast before he got in a round of golf with a friend and before I ran errands. We settled on City Bakery (mostly because I wanted a pretzel croissant and I knew they’d have other options in case Ken wanted something else). We arrived pretty early and it looks like they had just set up for the morning rush. We ordered the eggs with spinach, potatoes, a pretzel croissant and an iced coffee:

Ken loved the eggs (probably because they included lots of butter, spinach and onion). We also added some jelly to the pretzel croissant for the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The price tag for this breakfast: $24.50! I’m not sure what cost so much but I would’ve been perfectly happy with just the pretzel croissant!
