Hamptons: Day 1

Our friends came to New York to visit us last week and we had an amazing time hanging out with them and showing them around the city. Ken and I wanted to make the trip really fun for everyone so we threw out the idea of renting a house in the hamptons for the weekend. Everyone was on board and even though we made plans back in April, we would send weekly updates of where we should go and what we should do while we were on our mini-vacation. We hosted one couple at our apartment (and the other guys ended up staying at a nearby hotel) and drove out to the hamptons last Saturday morning.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous and when we arrived, we immediately started playing games:

The house was really beautiful and had a little private beach in their back yard:

John, our friend, took care of all of the cooking (all weekend!) and made great cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and sausages:

On Saturday night, after we ate a late lunch and showered, we got dressed up to go to a late dinner:
