San Francisco and Napa Valley!
Hi readers,
I need your help!!! Chris and I are going to San Francisco and Napa Valley for our birthdays this year and I need recommendations for wineries to visit, places to eat, and places to stay! We’re eating at French Laundry for our special birthday dinner, but everything else is undecided. I’m planning to stay a night in San Francisco, a couple of nights with my friend Audrey, and the rest of the time I should be in Napa. Any cute bed and breakfasts or cottages you visited in Napa? Great wineries we shouldn’t miss? E-mail me and let me know – gracenotesnyc at gmail dot com. THANKS!

You guys should DEFINITELY check out this great restaurant that I discovered when I was out in the Bay Area. It’s called ‘Applebee’s’ and it has like, all these amazing dishes.
STERLING IS THE BEST WINERY IN NAPA!!!!!!! The gondola ride up is soooooo cool. You’ll love it!
robert mondavi, stag’s leap, and joseph phelps wineries are awesome.
Grace, you gave us some great suggestions when we were in NYC back at Christmas time, so here are my suggestions for you….Sterling is nice because of the awesome view from the top, even if it is more of a big commercial winery. They have a huge outdoor patio overlooking the valley. A great way to spend an afternoon. A great lunch spot is Taylor’s Refresher. It’s like an old time drive-in but with really great food. Amazing burgers, fish tacos, etc. It’s probably the only old fashioned diner with a great wine list! Napa is great, you’ll love it.
